Journalists get first aid training in Quetta.

QUETTA: The media and communication department PRC Balochistan conducted two day First Aid training for Journalists, here at Quetta. A large number of participants attended the basic First Aid training.

Media and communication officer Balochistan Naseeb Malik shed the lights on the history of PRCS, RCRC, from very beginning with the achievements in core areas during disaster and peace time. He further said that the purpose and objective of the gathering of media persons from the backward areas of Balochistan province.

Most of the media persons remain involved in the different activities of PRCS earlier than this training but were still unknown of the basic First Aid knowledge. Later on Mr.

Hasnan Ameen the First Aid trainer of PRCS. He started the session with the introduction, need and purposes of First Aid training and its knowledge.

He practically showed the different stages of recovery position of a patient critically injured during a disaster. After that he called the participants one by one and made them able to recover a critically injured person.

After telling about the recovery position and categorization of the patients according to the injuries he put a glance on the different topics of bleeding and its stoppage through different ways to overcome the bleeding and its criticalness. He said that the participants about the different types of shocks and recovery of person who faced shocks and their further treatment.

After that, participants were called on stage to practice how to stop bleeding and how to save a person who has been injured by shocks.
