Journalism in a land of fantasy; Views of the North.

YOUR leader of June 27 took journalistic integrity to the highest level of fantasy. You mentioned John Major, missed a generation, and then Gordon Brown pops up.

You conveniently forgot about Anthony Charles Lynton Blair, who, more than any other politician, used the PFI to persuade his voters he was leading them to the promised land.

He has been exposed as a fly-by-night, a Bob Crow sycophant, in it for himself. "Didn't I do well?" Your failure, as the North East's leading media outlet, to provide intelligent leadership in these difficult times does not augur well for any potential investor in our area.
