Joseph S. Pontoski named FSCT Executive Director.

The Board of Directors of the Federation of Societies for Coatings Technology has announced the appointment of Joseph S. Pontoski to the position of Executive Director of the organization. Employed by FSCT for over 10 years, Mr. Pontoski has been serving as FSCT Chief Operating Officer with the added responsibilities of Executive Director since the resignation of Robert F. Ziegler earlier this year.

Mr. Pontoski began his career in public accounting where he worked for a Big 8 accounting firm and completed his CPA exam. He later worked in the banking industry as Vice President and Comptroller of a small start-up bank in Philadelphia. In 1996, he joined the FSCT as Controller and Director of Administration. In addition to these responsibilities, Mr. Pontoski was elected Secretary/Treasurer of the organization when the FSCT revised its governance structure in 2005. Mr. Pontoski earned an M.B.A. from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia and a B.S. in Accounting from Penn State University.
