Jordanian poet Amjad Nasser receives Medal of Creativity, Culture, Arts.

Amman, June.16 (Petra) - Jordanian poet Amjad Nasser received at a ceremony honoring him in Amman yesterday, the Medal of Creativity, Culture and Arts granted by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in recognition of his role in enriching Arab culture, especially in Jordan and Palestine. Palestinian Minister of Culture, Atef Abu Saif, presented the medal to Nasser in the presence of Culture and Youth Minister, Mohammad Abu Rumman, and a number of Jordanian, Palestinian and Arab poets and writers. During the ceremony, which included speeches on the poet's contribution and his great role in enriching the Arab poetry landscape, Nasser was selected the cultural personality of the Amman International Book Fair in its ninth session, which will be held at the end of September.
