Jordan increases ATFP loan by $20 million.
Minister of Finance Mohammad Abu Hammour told Petra after signing the deal with President of the AMF, Jassem al-Manaai, that the Kingdom has secured a further $20 million to its previous $50 million loan through the AMF Arab Trade Financing Program ATFP.
The ATFP has made big contributions to the intra-Arab trade, Abu Hammour noted, adding that the Kingdom had signed 49 deals through the program.
He said the ATFP had helped to boost pan-Arab trade exchange and accelerate Arab economic integration through its service and financial facilities.
Al-Manaai said the AMF had granted the Kingdom a total of $457 million through its programs to push the development process forward and achieve broader economic rebound.
The Arab Trade Financing Program (ATFP) is a specialized multi Arab financial institution with a mission to contribute to the development of Arab trade and to the increase of the competitive capabilities of the Arab producers and exporters.
