Jolina Magdangal to make 'dramatic' return to acting.

It's been a while since we last saw Jolina Magdangal doing drama on TV.

But the long wait is over as she will soon star in an episode of the longest running drama anthology in Asia, "Maaalala Mo Kaya (MMK)."

On Thursday, the actress shared a sneak peak of her script. The episode will be under the helm of directors Ruel Bayani and Topel Lee.

"Ang tagal ko hindi ginawa ito. Thank you so much sa (MMK) sa magandang storya at magaling na direktor. Namiss ko ito sobra. Abangan," she wrote in the caption.

It was back in 2000 when she last appeared on "MMK," portraying a maid role in "Apron."

Prior to that, she became part of three episodes, "Karayom, "Mangga," and "Gitara" from 1996 to 1998.

Jolina, 40, is set to do a reunion movie with former onscreen partner Marvin Agustin.

The project is said to be under Dan Villegas and Antoinette Jadaone's Project 8 corner San Joaquin Production, with spoken word artist Juan Miguel Severo writing the story with Bibeth Orteza.

Last March, the production company hinted on Instagram that the '90s love team might reprise the roles of Bujoy and Ned in the hit film "Labs Kita, Okey Ka Lang?" In it, the two played best friends who eventually fell in love with each other.

"Kasi 20 years na 'yung pelikulang 'yun eh. So anong nangyari kay Ned at Bujoy talaga di ba?," Jolina said in a past episode of "Magandang Buhay," implicating they wanted do a reunion project that is related to that movie.
