Joint session of parliament on Friday: Notification issued.

By ISLAMABAD, May 12, 2011 (Balochistan Times): The acting President Farooq H. Naik has called the joint session of the parliament on Friday 13 May to discuss the presence of Al-Qaida Chief Osama Bin Ladin in Pakistan and Abbottabad operation. The sources said that Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has sent the summary to the Presidents House for convening the joint session of the parliament on which the acting President signed on Wednesday. Notification has been issued in this regard. The session would be held on Friday behind closed doors, during which the apex military bureaucracy including Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Martial Rao Qamar Suleman and DG ISI Lt. Gen Ahmed Shuja Pasha would give in-camera briefing to the parliamentarians and answer the questions from them.
