Joining the Law makers.

MY learned colleague, the ancient and honourable Lord Keevins, is quoting the profanity of Lyndon Baines Johnson to describe Peter Lawwell becoming part of the SFA establishment he so despised.

I'll see his LBJ and raise him a Sun Tzu from the Art of War - keep your friends close but your enemies closer.

No excuses for Lawwell now though, eh? He wanted root-and-branch change in the SFA. He has it.

He wanted Celtic's voice heard. He has that too.

What the Parkhead chief executive has to realise, though, is the professional game board isn't there simply to serve him and his club.

It should be the opposite.

He's there to serve the game and the greater good.

So it will be interesting to see what POSITIVE change Lawwell can bring to the table instead of just whingeing about how wrong everything is and why his club are victims of all of it.

We wait with baited breath to see what happens.
