Join us in Williamsburg!

The Heritage Committee is sponsoring a conference tentatively planned for August 14-17, 2004, in Williamsburg, Virginia. We selected this particular location because of the rich history of both ACEI and of Williamsburg. You do not have to be a member of the Heritage Committee to attend this conference participation is open to all. We hope to gain some family participation as well. August was selected in order to enable more attendance at the conference by teachers, families, college teachers, and ACEI members in general.

You will be located in Colonial Williamsburg and the fee will include transportation to all parts of historic Williamsburg. The package includes a pass for the period of the conference, and you will not have to pay the admission fees to any of the museums and other sites at Williamsburg. You will participate in colonial meals at the Williamsburg Lodge, including a daily breakfast, and we have a tour guide for one day.

The Williamsburg Lodge, which is part of Colonial Williamsburg, offers a package that includes: 3 nights' lodging, 4 full breakfasts, 2 banquet dinners, I welcome reception with light snacks and punch, and 1 "Freedom Pass" good for admission to the historic area of Colonial Williamsburg. The approximate cost is $817 per person for single occupancy; $510/pp for double occupancy; $460/pp for triple occupancy; and $406/pp for quad occupancy. There will also be an additional Conference Registration Fee.

If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact Jerry Odland at ACEI Headquarters (301-570-2111), or send E-mail to aceihq@aol.com to have your name added to the mailing list.
