Join the convention online.

The League's 46th biennial Convention is just around the corner, and League members can access information and materials in the Convention Section of the Members Site before, during and after the Convention. Please note that there will be daily updates, including photos, throughout the Convention, June 12-15. We urge League members who aren't able to join us in Washington to join us online!

DIRECTIONS TO THE MEMBERS SITE (AND THE CONVENTION SECTION)

Log on to the Members Site by going to http://www.lwv.org and click on "Members Site" on the right hand side of the navigation bar at the bottom of the page. Both User ID and Password are needed to access this area. You may obtain these by contacting your local League office or the LWVUS Membership and Field Support Department (202-429-1965, membership@lwv.org). Use the following URL to go directly to the convention site: http://interactive.lwv.org/Convention/Convention main.cfm.

THE CONVENTION SECTION

The left-hand side navigation panel under the Convention button will list these subsections: "Registration," "Resources," "Nominated Slate," "Workbook," "Program," "Daily Review" and "From the Floor." For those unfamiliar with the League's Convention, "Workbook" and "Program" refer to the Convention Workbook and the Convention Program. Please note that all of these sections may not be active until the Convention opens.

THE WORKBOOK

The Workbook contains the primary business of Convention: Convention rules and procedures, the proposed League budget and related documentation, the proposed League program and related materials, and the nominated slate of LWVUS officers and directors for the new biennium. It also contains a brief overview of the activities in the Washington office for the past two years.

PROGRAM

The Convention Program is provided to delegates and other attendees at registration. Among other things, it contains detailed daily schedules and lists of workshops, caucuses and winners of the awards presented at the Convention. The Program will be available online shortly before Convention begins. When possible, additional resources, such as workshop handouts and PowerPoint presentations will be provided online.

DURING CONVENTION

While convention is in session, the most active areas of the Convention section will be the "Daily Review" and "From the Floor." Each day from June 12-June 15, information such as the Reports on Convention Actions and Convention Highlights (including a photo gallery) will be posted in the "Daily Review" section. More specific information, such as transcripts of plenary reports and speeches will be accessible in the "From the Floor" section. Whenever possible, additional information and materials such as PowerPoint presentations and handouts will be in this section or a link will be provided.

Do visit our Web site, www.lwv.org, and check out the Convention section now, during and after Convention!
