Join team to help aid deaf awareness; E&S BRIEFING.

A leading deaf awareness charity is looking for a new member of the team.

Zebra Access, which works to address the issues faced by deaf and hard of hearing people in Wolverhampton and the surrounding area by providing access to information and services, is advertising for a British Sign Language (BSL) and Deaf Awareness Tutor.

The role is a part-time fixed term contract working up to April 2022 and is a new project funded by the Big Lottery Fund. It will involve the teaching of BSL courses to families and relatives of deaf people and deaf awareness courses to charitable organisations. Any applicants should be fluent in BSL.

The deadline for applications in 5pm on Tuesday, August 27. Anyone interested should contact Chris Beech at chris@zebra-access.com or on 01902 421 919.
