Johnston in the Post on Friday: Well done to d'Arcy team for Indian Haven's Classic success.

Byline: Mark Johnston

VERY many congratulations to Paul d'Arcy, John Egan, the owners and all the connections of Indian Haven for their success in last Saturday's Irish 2,000 Guineas.

Their faith in the horse was vindicated in the best possible way. Well done.

Paul d'Arcy has obviously had a very high opinion of Indian Haven from an early stage in the horse's career, as I assume it was him who persuaded the current owners to buy the colt for 95,000gns at the Autumn Horses in Training Sales last year and to keep it in his stable. That was a bold move.
