John Wiley & Sons (Hoboken, NJ) will begin the preliminary online publication of "Current Protocols in Stem Cell Biology" with an issue in June. Online installments will continue through the end of 2007 and regular print and online monthly publication will begin in January 2008. The new journal is targeted to researchers involved in isolating, characterizing and differentiating embryonic or adult stem cells. Published in affiliation with the International Society for Stem Cell Research (Northbrook, IL), the journal will cover new methods in embryonic stem cells, adult stem cells and the genetic manipulation of stem cells. The title is the latest addition to Wiley's "Current Protocols" journal series which includes 13 other journals covering a range of medical and science topics, including cell biology, human genetics, neuroscience, toxicology and pharmacology.
