John Hancock Tax-Advantaged Global Shareholder Yield Fund (NYSE:HTY) on Thursday declared a quarterly distribution of USD0.2200 per share, down by 31.25% from its earlier quarterly distribution.

This distribution equals an annual rate of 8.72% based on the closing share price of USD10.09 on 22 February 2017. It will be paid on 31 March 2017 to shareholders of record date on 13 March 2017 and the ex-dividend date is 9 March 2017.

A closed-end fund, HTY is managed by John Hancock Advisers LLC and sub-advised by both Epoch Investment Partners and Analytic Investors LLC.

John Hancock Investments provides asset management services and is a wealth management business of John Hancock Financial, which is a division of financial services group Manulife Financial based in Canada and with principal operations in Asia, Canada and the US. Manulife Financial primarily operates as John Hancock in the US.
