John Deere honored with Product of the Year Award.
The John Deere 60 Series Combine was recognized by Agri Marketing
magazine as the 2004 Product of the Year. Judged by an independent
panel, John Deere's product was selected based on market
environment, industry recognition, benefit and value to the marketplace,
and strategic marketing approach. "John Deere made a substantial
investment in the research and development of the 60 Series Combine in
order to deliver on our customers' demand for a more productive and
user-friendly machine," says Barry Nelson, PR manager for John
Deere Agricultural Division. As the winner, the John Deere 60 Series
Combines were featured in the October issue of Agri Marketing.
"Agri Marketing initiated the Product of the Year program to
showcase successful product-marketing endeavors within our
industry," says Publisher Bill Schuermann. The Product of the Year
search is now in its seventh year; entries for the 2005 search will be
accepted in May.
