Joe out to bank big win.

JOE MBU is out to repay Danny Lennon's faith in him by helping Cowdenbeath lift the Third Division title.

The 27-year-old Cameroon ace has starred in the centre of defence since being snapped up last yearfromWhitburn.

Mbu, capped twice by Scotland Juniors, admits a medal would be the highlight of his career.

The banker, who has been in Scotland since 1989, said: "I thought the chance of stepping up had passed me by but I was lucky to play a few games during pre-season and did well enough for Danny to give me a one-year deal.

"I owe him for that and if Beath win the title it would be my biggest achievement." Beath are one point ahead of Dumbarton with three games remaining..
