WORCESTER -- Joanna V. (Chronchio) Salvatore, 74, of Worcester, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Ichabod Washburn Hospice Residence.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Philip F. Salvatore Jr.; a brother, Matthew Chronchio of West Boylston; a sister-in-law, Carol Redmond of Worcester; many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers and three sisters, Albert and Anthony Chronchio, Stella and Rita Desroches and Elizabeth Fortin.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Nicholas and Albina (Mancini) Chronchio and has lived in Worcester all her life.

She worked for many years in the circulation department at the Worcester Telegram, having previously retired as accounts receivable supervisor from Sweet Life Foods, where she worked for 34 years. She and her husband enjoyed Saturday night dances at the Frohsinn Club in Shrewsbury.

Per her request, there are no services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Metro-West Homecare and Hospice, 200 Nickerson Road, Marlboro, MA 01752.
