Joan M. Sanginario, 52.

CLINTON Joan M. Sanginario, 52, of 1 Coolidge Place, died on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the Highlands Life Care Center in Fitchburg after a lengthy illness.

She is survived by her two beloved children, her son, Christopher M. "Sango" Sanginario and his fiancee Sara MacDonald of Worcester; and her ten year old daughter, Amy L. Sanginario, with whom she lived, of Clinton. She leaves a sister, Rosemary Chiavaras and her husband Robert of Lunenburg; three brothers, John F. Sanginario of Clinton, Paul A. Sanginario and his wife Donna of Lancaster, and Patrick Sanginario and his wife Theresa of Jacksonville, FL; her loving grandson, Dominick M. Sanginario; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Ms. Sanginario is preceded in death by her brother, Francis M. Sanginario who died in 2004.

Joan was born in Clinton to the late Francis J. and Mary J. (D'Onofrio) Sanginario, attended local schools and was a graduate of the Clinton High School Class of 1972. She was employed as a clerk for many years at the Clinton District Courthouse, and was a life long member of St. John the Evangelist Church in Clinton. Joan enjoyed playing Bingo and above all cherished time spent with her loving family.

Funeral services are to be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 from the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton, with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton. Burial will be held privately at St. John Cemetery in Lancaster. Calling hours are to be held in the funeral home on Friday, February 16, 2007 from 5 until 8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Amy L. Sanginario Scholarship Fund, c/o Sovereign Bank, 79 High St., Clinton, MA 01510.
