Jewish right-wing group calls for storming Al-Aqsa Mosque on Eid al-Adha.

Ramallah, Aug. 6 (Petra) - The so-called Students for the Temple Mount group sent a letter to Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, demanding that Jews be allowed to break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque during Eid al-Adha which coincides with the anniversary of the so-called "temple destruction". According to the Hebrew newspaper Israel hayom on Tuesday, the right-wing group said that Netanyahu should pledge and announce that Jews would be allowed to enter al-Aqsa on Sunday, even if it was a Muslim holiday, and that the visits would be increased to include morning and noon hours as a result of expected pressure on doors. The so-called temple destruction day is one of the days in which mass infiltrations are carried out to al-Aqsa Mosque, where the number of intruders exceeds 1,000 settlers every year. The Maghariba Gate, where al-Aqsa is raided every day except Fridays and Saturdays, is usually closed on Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. //Petra// RZ 06/08/2019 11:37:14
