Jenny's bucked up by hot yoga and sleep..

From weather presenter to landing her own entertainment show the sky's the limit for UTV's Jenny Buckley.

Pulse started as a three-minute segment on the channel and proved so popular it's been extended to a half hour.

The 36-year-old host will now be seen every Friday at 8pm presenting her own show.

The secret to her ab fab figure is cooking everything from scratch, high repetition light weights, hot yoga and good sleep.

Jenny said: "Normally my shifts are in the afternoon so I can go to the gym in the morning when my little girl Jude, who is four, is in Montessori."

The Howth native attends Kiwi gym in Sutton Cross, which is run by New Zealand trainer Matt Corbett.

She added: "He has changed my whole diet. He knows women don't want to look too beefy so he concentrates on the lines and just toning.

"I have trouble sleeping and he recommends calcium to get you asleep and magnesium to keep you asleep and Vitamin C is your friend, plus his motto is get as much greens into you as you can.

"I have high energy and my mind would race a lot with work so I need the gym for getting back into my body and feeling those endorphins.

IS THERE A PRESSURE IN TV LAND TO LOOK PERFECT?

"Looking at these celebs who are photoshopped would make us all a bit selfconscious.

"But I think the thing is once you feel good and once you feel healthy that's the main thing.

"I do quite a lot of light weights, high reps and the cross trainer but my favourite way to chill out is yoga and for calorie burning hot yoga is phenomenal.

"I do hot yoga in the gym in Howth, and I find the evening class is brilliant if you've had a stressful day.

"You sweat out all those toxins, my face is purple afterwards so you can't meet anyone but it's incredible and you can sleep really well afterwards.

"I love all yoga as it clears the mind and with hot yoga you really feel like you're burning up a sweat."

WHAT'S IN JENNY'S CUPBOARD?

"I love olives, I always have them in the house in case someone calls in and they're lovely in antipasti.

"Cornicles in brine are handy too, the Happy Pear lads do a great pesto.

"I'd usually make my own but this is full of goodness and just the same if you are time poor. My little girl adores pesto.

"If I see wild smoked salmon I'll get it, of course I know it's more expensive but it tastes so much better.

"I came across pimentos in Spain and they're beautiful with a bit of salt, you know for tapas.

"I love cooking. If you cook everything from scratch you will eliminate all of the toxins from your body.

"I admit I buy the pizza bases and the passata and make my own pizza, so much better for you and they're delicious. My husband Gareth ON THE PULSE UTV Ireland's Jenny Buckley likes a Guinness so I always keep a few cans for him.

"I use full-fat butter rather than oil and if I'm doing a curry I use coconut oil."

CHEAT MEAL

"Kanoodle, when you think about it we've all become so conscious when it comes to even takeaways.

"If I'm getting a takeaway I always ask if it's without MSG, you can really feel your body shaking after you have it so I never do."

GUILTY PLEASURE

"I love chocolate and I have to have some every day to keep me going.

"I make sure I buy chocolate with a very high percentage of cocoa.

"I adore the chilli and salt dark chocolate, it's to die for."

ANY BIT OF YOUR BODY THAT YOU'D LIKE TO CHANGE?

I'm happy enough with my body at the moment but of course we're never 100% happy. I have cellulite, what woman doesn't?"

JENNY'S TOP TIPS

Loads of water to flush out the toxins, eat your greens and you can't beat Vitamin C.

"Dry body brushing away from the heart. And, of course, do yoga as it will change your life."
