Jenkins to Cow out.

IAIN JENKINS is set to reject the manager's job at Cowdenbeath to join Danny Lennon at St Mirren.

The 37-year-old Central Park No.2 is expected to be confirmed as Lennon's assistant by Friday, with the Buddies holding discussions over a pay-off with Gus MacPherson's right-hand man Andy Millen this week.

It is understood Cowdenbeath had immediately turned to the former Tayport, Dundee North End and Broughty Athletic boss but Jenkins is excited by the prospect of coaching in the SPL and is due to complete his switch to St Mirren instead.
