Jen falls for boss's charms; JUST GO WITH IT.

Byline: Adam Sandler

(Cert 12, 111 mins, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Comedy/Romance, also available to buy DVD pounds 17.99/Blu-ray pounds 22.99) Starring: Adam Sandler, Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker, Nick Swardson, Nicole Kidman, Dave Matthews, Bailee Madison, Griffin Gluck DANNY Maccabee (Adam Sandler) is a wealthy plastic surgeon with a feisty assistant, Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), who is singlehandedly raising two precocious kids, Maggie (Bailee Madison) and Michael (Griffin Gluck).

At a party, Danny meets schoolteacher Palmer Dodge (Brooklyn Decker) and the connection is immediate ... until she discovers a wedding ring - a prop to lure women into bed - in the pocket of his jeans.

So Danny makes up a lie about an impending divorce from a beastly wife and persuades Katherine to pose as the soonto-be ex.

The little white lies keep on coming and Maggie and Michael pose as Danny's fake children then his demented cousin Eddie (Nick Swardson) adopts the guise of Katherine's WHITE LIES Adam Sandler sheep farmer boyfriend.

Matters come to a head on a dream vacation in Hawaii. Based on the 1969 Walter Matthau comedy Cactus Flower, Just Go With It is two hours of lunacy that somehow compels us to care about the characters and even delivers a smattering of belly laughs. It's to the credit of screenwriters Allan Loeb and Timothy Dowling and a strong ensemble cast that this saccharine folly doesn't completely self-destruct.

Certainly there are moments when it teeters on the brink and there is a nagging feeling throughout the film that Aniston's intelligent single mother could do far better than settle for Sandler's bed-hopping boss.

The cast fling themselves at the scatty material with gusto, not least Nicole Kidman in an eye-catching supporting role.

INTELLIGENT Jennifer Aniston
