Jefferies Financial Group Inc is recruiting more people to its investment banking division as rivals are pulling back from the market, according to Bloomberg.
The firm has added 350 employees this year, which is an increase of 10 percent compared to the end of 2018. It also said that it is building out its operations in Europe and Asia. Recently, the company hired two managing directors and a senior vice president from Branch Banking and Trust Company (BB&T Corp) (NYSE: BBT).
The three are to join the firm's logistics and transportation investment-banking division.
