Jebali visits Telnet Group, chairs special session of High Level Committee for Science and Technology.

TUNIS (TAP) - Interim Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali, Saturday, visited the technocentre of Telnet Group located at the "Berges du Lac" in Tunis.

Accompanied by Minister of Information and Communication Technology Mongi Marzouk, Minister of Education Abdellatif Abid and Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister Salah Gharsallah, Mr. Jebali visited the offices of Telnet technocentre and learnt about models of Tunisian companies operating in the high tech sector.

He also noted the technological progress made by Tunisian experts in matters of avionics, security and smart card, multimedia and home automation.

On the sidelines of this visit, the Prime Minister chaired a special session of the High Level Committee for Science and Technology (CHNST).

The session, attended by Tunisian skills operating in Tunisia and abroad, was organised on the resumption of activities of this committee.

During the meeting, Director General of Telnet Holding Mohamed Frikha briefed the government delegation on the activities and mission of CHNST and on the Task Force and the innovating projects made by the committee since its creation.
