Jayalalithaa describes Tamil Nadu 2011 Assembly Elections - A War between "Dharma" and Adhrma.

Chennai, Jan. 10 -- The All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam(AIADMK) supremo has said that ensuring elections to the Tamil Nadu Assembly, due in May this year, would be a war between the "Dharma" and "Adharma" and in the end Dharma would win.

Speaking after paying obeisance at the Talamai Pathi of 'Ayya' Vaikundaswamy at Samithoppu in the southern Kaniyakumari district on Sunday, she said with the blessings of 'Ayya'', the AIADMK would return to power after the polls to provide good governance to the people.

''It was not an elections between the AIADMK and the DMK. It is a battle between the good and evil force...a battle between Adharma and Dharma,'' she added.

Stating that people were put to various hardships by the ruling DMK, Ms Jayalalithaa said ''Ayya'' has worked towards victory of Dharma.

''With the blessings of Ayya, the AIADMK will return to power to solve all the problems confronting the people,'' she added.

Earlier, Ms Jayalalithaa arrived at Tuticorin by a special flight and reached Samithoppu by a helicopter.

She was accorded a traditional reception by the thousands of AIADMK party workers and huge public.

She also inaugurated a Goshala in the pathi and distributed various welfare measures to the poor. Ms Jayalalithaa donated a Cow and Calf to the Goshala on her own.

Ms Jayalalithaa later returned to Chennai.
