Jaranwala case: SC orders exhumation of body for another autopsy.
LAHORE -- The Supreme Court on Saturday ordered exhumation of the grave of seven year old girl, who was allegedly raped and killed a few days ago in Jaranwala, for another autopsy.
The bench ordered that a board headed by MS Allied Hospital would re-conduct autopsy after procuring necessary permission from the authorities concerned.

Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan passed the orders while hearing a suo motu notice over the rape and murder of seven year old minor girl in Jaranwala.
As the proceedings began, a lawyer on behalf of the complainant appeared before the bench and pointed out shortcomings in the initial medical report.
Inspector General of Police Punjab Arif Nawaz Khan apprised the bench about details of the incident and submitted that police was investigating the case from different angles.
He also suggested that if the complainant was not satisfied with autopsy then a board could re-conduct it.
At this, the bench ordered exhumation of the grave of the minor girl for another autopsy besides adjuring the further hearing.
Meanwhile, the bench ordered IGP Punjab Arif Nawaz Khan to arrest killers of journalist Zeeshan Butt within four days while hearing a suo motu notice in this regard.
Earlier, the IGP Punjab informed that four suspects Shahid s/o Aslam, Shahid s/o Arif, Saqlain and another were involved in the murder but despite hectic efforts no arrest had been made so far. He sought one week time for the arrest of killers. However, the bench rejected the request and ordered to arrest the killers within four days.
