Japanese software firm expands.

Toyo Information Systems Co., Ltd., a Japanese-based financial software firm, has expanded its U.S. operations by signing a lease to occupy 7,000 square feet of office space on the 22nd floor at Broad Financial Center, 33 Whitehall St. in downtown Manhattan.

Paul Weissman, corporate managing director; Kathleen B. Wit, associate director; and Daniel Horowitz, exclusively represented the tenant in the negotiations.

Toyo is relocating to the building, which is owned by the Bank of Nova Scotia, from Teleport Drive in Staten Island.
