Japanese diaper production increases.

Diaper production in the third quarter of 1992 (July to September) in Japan reportedly totaled 1.32 billion units, of which baby diapers accounted for 1.21 billion, up 9% from the previous term. Adult incontinence products accounted for 113 million units, a 12% increase. With the first half of the year reporting a very low growth rate of only 0.7%, these recent higher figures reflect a recovery in the diaper market in the latter part of the year.
