Japan,Pakistan : HONDA to increase manufacturing limit at Motorcycle Plant in PAKISTAN.

Honda has declared schemes to increase twice the production limit of its present motorcycle plant at Sheikhupura in Pakistan, said the firm.

From present 6,00,000 units, the firm will accelerate the limit to 1.2 million units amid the next 3 years to accommodate the hoped expansion of the motorcycle sector in Pakistan.

Honda is likewise seeking to endow around $ 50 million in this 3-year limit broadening that likewise will include around 1,800 new associates.

After this broadening, Honda's overall yearly production limit will be raised to 1.35 million units.

For this limit broadening, Honda will initially include more production line to the Sheikhupura Plant with the plan to commence production on this new range in October 2016. It then will moreover broaden the overall limit in phases.

Honda is presently producing motorcycles at 2 plants, the Karachi plant in the southern region of the nation and the Sheikhupura plant in the northeastern region of the nation, with yearly production limit of 1,50,000 units and 6,00,000 units, separately.
