Janjian affirms threats not to alter outcome of students' elections.

NNA - Lebanese Forces MP, Shant Janjian, on Wednesday said that threats to "cut off hands" and "behead" others shall not change the result of students' elections.

In a statement issued today, the MP lashed out at what he described as the "party of arms", condemning its growing pace of threats and intimidation whilst addressing students or others.

"The means by which those sides are demanding their alleged rights and expressing their opinions have surpassed all the legal and ethical standards, not to mention are void of all the required national deterrents," Janjian added.

Janjian's words come in the wake of a flurry of scuffles which had been witnessed at USJ premises following the most recent round of students' elections.
