Celebrating the 100th Anniversary

of Memorial Hall

Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

The Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Honorable James K. Bartleman, was present at Memorial Hall to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Museum. Due to the encouragement and perseverance of Janet Carnochan, the museum was founded in 1907 and was the first historical building in Ontario to house artifacts of the region.

Colonel John Butler member, Dr. Elizabeth Oliver Malone, representing Mrs. Col. John Butler, was responsible for the Loyalist exhibit for the "100 artifacts for 100 Years".
