Jamil Dehlavi's film-making workshop.

LAHORE -- Acclaimed film-maker Jamil Dehlavi will hold a week-long short film-making workshop at the Institute for Art and Culture from March 4-9, says a press release.

The participants will be mentored by Jamil Dehlavi on the script-writing to post production stage techniques. Promising young film-makers and students are expected to participate in the workshop that will be held at the Institute for Art and Culture, Raiwind Road.

The films made at the workshop will be screened nationally and internationally. Eight participants, based on their background and portfolio, will select amongst themselves the role of director, cameraperson, scriptwriter or editor for their film.

IAC's Professor Shahid Nadeem who has designed the workshop said this would be a unique opportunity for the budding film-makers to learn from a creative and experienced person. This would be the beginning of a series of film-making workshops with international experts.
