Jamie, 19 dies of heart attack.
Jamie Moore, 19, had eaten a kebab and gone to bed around 2.30am.
His brother Gary, 15, found him dead when he tried to wake him the next day.
Supermarket worker Jamie had already had a heart scare in December when he collapsed playing football.
At the time, he was taken to Monklands Hospital in Airdrie, where he was given the all-clear after being put on a heart monitor.
Jamie's parents Jacqueline, 37, and James, 49, of Chapelhall, Lanarkshire, now believe he had a rare heart defect which could have killed him at any time.
His grandmother Eileen Moore, 67, said Jamie was a fit teenager who played football, golf and snooker.
She said: "It is such a tragic loss. Jamie was such a character. People knew him as a sportsman and a friend.
"We had all been worried after his collapse last year. The doctors monitored his heart and said he was okay.
"But this has been like a timebomb waiting to go off. Jamie loved playing football and golf and he was always out and about. He never drank or smoked."
A funeral mass will be held at St Aloysius Church, Chapelhall at 10am tomorrow.
