Jack White Blunderbuss; singles and albums with rick fulton.

SINCE 2003's White Stripes high water mark Elephant, Jack has sometimes felt at sea. Albums from that band and subsequent full bands The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather have been good, with two or three top tracks but nothing like his past. On his debut solo he rights the wrongs. Quite simply Blunderbuss rips through the current charts with a guitar-shaped hole. Nothing has sounded so nasty, so despair-filled and angry since Nirvana's In Utero. Going through a divorce, Jack has given his raw bloody pain on a platter for us to enjoy. From the high school fun of Sixteen Saltines to the bitter drawl of Missing Pieces. Outstanding.
