JUSTICE BARBARA PARIENTE, right, and Annette Boyd Pitts of the Florida Law Related Education Association, created a webinar to promote Law Day and train lawyers and judges on how to make a Benchmarks or Informed Voters Project presentation about the separation of powers. The webinar also discusses checks and balances and the role of the courts in our constitutional structure. The webinar is posted on both the Benchmarks page and on the Bar's and the Informed Voters Project/Fair Judges Project of the National Association of Women Judges' websites. Attorneys can get CLE credit for watching the webinar. They can also get credit for making Benchmarks presentations. The theme of this year's Law Day is "Separation of Powers: Framework for Freedom."
