JUP (N) supports inclusion of FATA in KPK.
LAHORE -- Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (Niazi) has supported the move by the parliamentarians for inclusion of Federally Administrated Tribal Area (FATA) under provincial administration of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK).
In a press statement issued here on Saturday, JUP-N President Pir Syed Masoom Hussain Naqvi said that such an act would strengthen the federation. He said that recommendations of the parliamentary committee concerned in this regard should be implemented without any delay.
He said that the inclusion of FATA in KPK would have far reaching impact on the lives of people of the area.
'Common man from Tribal areas will enjoy rights and civil liberties at par with other areas of the province and also end the feudalism from the area,' he added.
Masoom Naqvi said that almost all political parties of the country were supporting the move but a political leader belonged to KPK was opposing it. He said that such a gesture from a political party was not a positive act.
The people of FATA wanted to become part of the provincial administration and they should be given opportunity of it, he added.
