JR feels Robbo'd after ref blunders.

Byline: Alasdair Fraser

Inverness...............1 Morton....................1

John Robertson claimed match officials got two big decisions wrong - but laid blame for the defeat firmly on his Caley players.

Referee Craig Thomson missed a blatant handball from Gary Oliver in the lead-up to Charlie Telfer's early opener for Morton.

And late on, Thomson waved away howls for a penalty after Lee Kilday's studs caught Carl Tremarco in the penalty box.

Jordan White's leveller for Thistle just before half time secured a point for the Highlanders but also saw them slip five points behind leaders Ayr United after a fourth draw from five home league games this season.

Robbo admitted: "We're disappointed with their goal because it was a clear hand ball. I spoke to Oliver at the end and he couldn't believe he got away with it.

"For the three officials not to spot the incident is disappointing, especially when they all came up with different reasons.

"There was also a clear penalty at the end that they haven't given.

"But these decisions shouldn't come into play had we taken our chances."

Morton, after a battering from Ayr last week, were intent on frustrating the hosts throughout the afternoon.

Morton boss Jonatan Johannsen said: "It was a good reaction from last week's defeat by Ayr. We work on being hard to beat."
