JR HUNT VENTURES INTRODUCES CELL GARD FOR CELLULAR TELEPHONES

COCOA, Fla., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Cell Gard, a product that prevents nearly 100 percent of a cellular telephone's signal from getting to the user's head, was introduced today by JR Hunt Ventures, located here.
Cell Gard is easily placed and removed from the antenna of the most popular models of hand-help cellular telephones.
Recently, national media attention has focused on what could be perceived as a potential health risk -- the transmitting of cellular telephone signals to the telephone user's head.
Cell Gard is the invention of J.R. Hunt, who, in addition to running one of the largest construction repair/refurbish companies in the Southeast, has also developed Auto Wipes, a product that is used in automobiles, and a monitor for use with SIDS-prone infants.
Electronic tests, repeatedly completed using highly sophisticated and sensitive equipment, show that Cell Gard does stop virtually all cellular telephone transmissions from moving towards the head.
Cell Gard was developed by Hunt after the initial health questions were raised by the media.
"I used my mobile phone continuously and became concerned after hearing the news reports. I created Cell Gard to help stop the signals from my cellular phone from going to my head. If the cellular telephone's signals don't have to go towards my head, then why should they? I think everyone can use this," said Hunt.
Cell Gard is available by calling 800-554-GARD and can be purchased for $9.95 plus shipping and handling. Cell Gard will fit Motorola 8000 and Ultra Classic cellular telephone models, as well as similar units. Hunt is also adapting Cell Gard to fit all other cellular phones.
