JPA holds ordinary meeting.

Amman, April.27 (Petra) -- The General Assembly of the Jordan Press Association (JPA), on Saturday, held its ordinary meeting, during which it approved the financial and administrative reports and the final financial accounts that ended last year. The General Assembly approved a number of decisions, including not to close the JPA membership issue in the last two years prior to electing the current council, which a JPA committee has found a number of violations regarding the membership authenticity of some JPA members. It also approved to cancel the pension fund, and gave a recommendation to the JPA council to take the necessary measures without referring again to the General Assembly in this regard. The General Assembly approved the amendment of the JPA law within the general frameworks presented by the council, and wait for bylaws amendment until association law would be amended.
