 JOSTENS PRESIDENT TO RETIRE
 MINNEAPOLIS, March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Jostens Inc. (NYSE: JOS)


today announced that Don C. Lein, president, will be retiring as an officer and director of the company, effective as of the company's April 23 board meeting.
 Lein, 58, began his career with Jostens as an assistant controller in 1963. He was named vice president-finance in 1972 and was elected a director of the company the same year. He was named executive vice president-finance and administration and corporate secretary in 1975, and elected president of Jostens in 1988. He also served as president The Jostens Foundation.
 A graduate of the State University of Iowa and the Harvard Business School, Lein is a member of the Financial Executives Institute, the National Association of Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
 He has served as board chairman of the Business Economic Education Foundation (BEEF), state chairman of the United Negro College Fund campaign, president of the Edina Country Club and director of the Bloomington Chamber of Commerce. Presently, he serves as vice chairman of the Minnesota Council on Foundations and on the board of the Minnesota Adult Literacy Campaign.
 In his announcement, Lein said: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my career at Jostens. It always has been a great pleasure working with so many find Jostens employees and sales representatives over the last 29 years.
 He added, "I am now interested in doing something new, and I am looking forward to having more time for my family and travel."
 H. William Luton, Jostens' chairman and chief executive officer, said: "I have enjoyed a close relationship with Don for more than 20 years, and I appreciate his contribution to Jostens' growth record. We are grateful for his many years of services to Jostens and wish him well in his future endeavors."
 Jostens Inc. provides products and services for the youth, education, sports award and recognition markets. It is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "JOS" and last year reported sales of $860 million.
