JOSEPH N. COHEN NAMED PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF LARGO ENTERTAINMENT

 LOS ANGELES, Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Joseph N. Cohen has been upped to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer of Largo Entertainment, it was announced today by Lawrence Gordon, chairman and chief executive officer. Cohen will continue to oversee all business and financial activities for the company, including supervision and implementation of its distribution arrangements. All creative areas, including marketing, will continue to report directly to Gordon.
 "Joe has functioned as my right-hand, assisting in putting Largo together from the beginning and this promotion reflects his involvement in all aspects of the company's activities," said Gordon. "He has been instrumental in developing new business strategies which have characterized Largo's approach to the kinds of deals and distribution arrangements which the company has implemented. Joe was also instrumental in organizing JVC's increased equity investment and a $75 million line of credit from a banking syndicate composed of international banks under the auspices of Chemical Bank."
 Cohen has been active in motion pictures and television financing and consulting through various companies around the world. In addition to arranging specific project financings, he has been an active consultant to the industry in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital restructuring, bond and equity issues, joint ventures and limited partnership offerings. Cohen is a graduate of both Yale and Oxford universities.
 Largo Entertainment is a joint venture between Lawrence Gordon and JVC Entertainment Inc. that develops, produces, finances and distributes theatrical motion pictures for markets throughout the world.
