JONJO BACK IN TOON.
Byline: IAN MURTAGH MUR
JONJO SHELVEY is in line for a Newcastle comeback in tomorrow's home game against Burnley.
The toon midfielder was not expected to return until after this weekend, but will be included in the squad for a game Newcastle must win to avoid being sucked back into the relegation scrap.
Boss Steve Bruce has to decide whether Shelvey will start or keep him on the bench.
The 28-year-old is still the club's top scorer with five goals and his creativity has been badly missed recently, with Newcastle goalless in four-anda- half hours of league football.
Skipper Jamaal Lascelles believes that Shelvey (left) can help to arrest the slump.
"He's got that bit of magic," said Lascelles. "that's the whole point of playing him."
Bruce heard this week that Ciaran Clark will miss the rest of the season after damaging ankle ligaments in the 4-0 defeat at Arsenal a fortnight ago.
But Matt Ritchie, Dwight gayle, Isaac Hayden and DeAndre Yedlin are set for recalls at St James' Park.
