JONES INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF ALAN M. ANGELICH

 ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Alan M. Angelich, who held various executive positions in the Jones International Ltd. organization, announced his resignation from such positions in order to pursue other personal and professional interests.
 Included in the positions he held were chief executive officer of Jones Capital Markets Inc., member of the executive committee, and vice chairman of the board of Jones Intercable Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: JOIN and JOINA).
 His resignation is effective immediately for all positions except as chief executive officer of Jones Capital Markets, which will be effective Nov. 1, 1993. His position as a member of the executive committee of the board of Jones Intercable has been filled by James B. O'Brien, president of Jones Intercable. No successor has been named for the Capital Markets position.
 Angelich will remain involved with the company for the next two years in a consultant capacity, said Glenn R. Jones, chief executive officer of Jones International. "Al Angelich's financial skill and knowledge has been a major contributor to our companies' growth over the past decade," Jones said. "We certainly will miss his daily presence and wish him all the best in his future endeavors."
 Jones International comprises a number of subsidiary companies concentrated in the information and communications industries. Its cable operations include both Jones Intercable and Jones Spacelink Ltd., which together reach more than 1.3 million subscribers in the United States. Jones Capital Markets develops institutional financial involvement in various corporate projects.
