 JOHNSTOWN RECEIVES HELP FROM MUNICIPAL RECOVERY GROUP;
 PENNSYLVANIA LAW FIRM HAS EXPERIENCE IN MUNICIPAL TURNAROUNDS
 PITTSBURGH, Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Pennsylvania's Department of Community Affairs has designated the Municipal Recovery Group at the law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott to develop and execute a financial recovery plan for the city of Johnstown, Pa., the firm announced today.
 The city of Johnstown is one of the largest communities declared distressed under the Pennsylvania Municipalities Financial Recovery Act of 1987.
 Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott's Municipal Recovery Group is a team of lawyers and non-lawyers with experience in municipal turnarounds and workouts. The group, headed by attorney James H. Roberts, has previously provided recovery assistance to the boroughs of Rankin and Ambridge, Pa.
 "Jim and his team will work closely with city officials, community leaders throughout the city and the Department of Community Affairs to develop a plan that meets Johnstown's needs," said C. Kent May, Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott's managing partner.
