JOHNSON WORLDWIDE ASSOCIATES ANNOUNCES SENIOR MANAGEMENT
CHANGE; HERRMANN TO RETIRE; CAHILL PROMOTED
RACINE, Wis., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Johnson Worldwide Associates (NASDAQ: JWAIA) today announced that Paul N. Herrmann, age 62, will be retiring as chief financial officer on Jan. 31, 1992, following JWA's annual meeting on Jan. 30. John G. Cahill, corporate controller of JWA, has been appointed vice president and chief financial officer, effective Feb. 1, 1992.
To ensure an orderly transition, Herrmann will remain a corporate vice president and he has agreed to be on special assignment for several months. Herrmann has been with JWA since May of 1970 and has served as its chief financial officer since 1984. Cahill has been with JWA since May 1986, having previously been employed by Arthur Andersen & Co. He joined JWA as accounting manager and became corporate controller in March 1989. Cahill is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee and also holds an MBA from that institution. Cahill is also a certified public accountant.
