JKSM condemns ongoing arrest spree in IOK.
ISLAMABAD -- Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement has said that its 22 activists have been arrested by Indian police in Central Kashmir in connection with sham Indian parliamentary elections in Indian occupied Kashmir.
According to reporter Srinagar said that more than a dozen activists were detained by Indian police in North Kashmir as well. Five of JKSM activists were arrested under draconian Public Safety Act, the statement added.
The spokesman said that shifting pro-freedom and religious leaders outside the occupied territory was an undemocratic and inhuman act. He said these kinds of steps would yield nothing nor would help suppress the ongoing freedom movement in Kashmir.
