Biopharmaceutical startup JHL Biotech Inc (TPEx:6540) stated on Monday that 12 February 2018 is the final day for trading of JHL shares on the Emerging Stock Market of the Taipei Exchange (TPEx) following its approval for voluntarily delisting on 2 February.

The JHL shares will officially cease trading as of 17 February 2018. However, due to market closure from 13-20 February for the Lunar New Year Holiday, 12 February 2018 is effectively the final day for trading of JHL shares on TPEx.

According to the board of directors, the voluntary delisting is in the best interests of the company and its shareholders, allowing to pursue planned expansion activities and to explore various fundraising strategies, including potentially listing on an overseas exchange.

As part of relevant laws, the company will purchase the shares eligible for sale at the price of TWD63 per share for the period from 17 February 2018 to 7 April 2018.
