JFE Shoji Establishes Steel Processing Center in North Vietnam.

Tokyo, July 12, 2013 - (JCN) - JFE Shoji Trade Corporation announced the establishment of JFE SHOJI STEEL HAI PHONG CO.,LTD. (JSHP), a steel processing center in the north of Vietnam.

Electrical manufacturers and others are transferring factories to the north of Vietnam. Hai Phong City and its suburbs are especially attractive places to establish new factories as the city has ports which possess loading & discharging equipment.

To capture the demand for steel sheets from these various makers, JFE Shoji is establishing its new steel processing center in VSIP Hai Phong industry park.

JFE Shoji earlier established a steel processing center JFE SHOJI STEEL VIETNAM CO.,LTD. (JSSV) in the south region of Vietnam, which started operation in May, 2007. JFE Shoji will continue to meet demand for steel products across Vietnam, utilizing processing functions of both JSHP & JSSV.

Currently, JFE Shoji is operating total of fifteen steel processing centers, including five in China, two in Thailand, and one in Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippine, Indonesia, Vietnam, Mexico, India respectively.
