JERSEY BALLET COMPANY ADDS TWO.

GLEN GALATAN has been appointed director of marketing for American Repertory Ballet, New Jersey largest dance troupe. Galatan, a New Jersey native, has worked for more than 10 years in marketing and public relations for companies in the food industry.

The New Brunswick-based ARB also has named Oceola Bragg to be an interim managing director while it conducts a national search for a permanent replacement for its former managing director Harris N. Ferris, who left his position with the ballet company in February after six years to expand his personal consulting business. He has continued working with the troupe as a part-time consultant.

Bragg most recently was director of community relations for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council. She also has worked in the marketing and development department for Dance Theatre of Harlem and was director for the 14th Street Dance Center of New York City.

These appointments came as new artistic director Graham Lustig completed his first season heading the 22-member troupe. At press time, the company was also planning to announce its first-ever development director.
