JERRY GOLDMAN PROMOTED TO SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE AND LONG-FORM PRODUCTION FOR PARAMOUNT NETWORK TELEVISION

 HOLLYWOOD, June 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Jerry Goldman has been promoted to senior vice president of finance and long-form production for Paramount Network Television, it was announced today by John S. Pike, president of Network Television and International Co-Production. Previously vice president of finance for the division, Goldman's responsibilities will now be expanded to include physical production of telefilms and mini-series. He will continue to oversee financial reporting as well as all production estimating functions.
 Goldman joined Paramount in 1982 as vice president of finance, overseeing the budgeting and finances on comedy and drama series, as well as specials, mini-series and telefilms.
 His experience has been global, overseeing production finances in Australia, Canada, England, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Thailand and Yugoslavia.
 In making the announcement, Pike stated, "Jerry has proven to be an invaluable member of our division. His experience will easily translate into the long-form arena."
 From 1977-1982, Goldman was vice president/controller of entertainment activities for Filmways, which produced and distributed features, television series and telefilms, and animated product. Previously, for four years, he was assistant controller at Universal, where he managed contract accounting and foreign distribution. He supervised production and distribution accounting at Cinerama Inc., from 1969-1973. Prior experience included positions with MGM and Universal, the latter, where he started his career in entertainment finance.
 Goldman holds a bachelor of arts degree from Brooklyn College.
